Historically, this has been our "Little Heroes" event. However, there's nothing little about the past 12 months! This year we are honoring one of our BIGGEST heroes in the tri-counties...our local healthcare system!
Our 2021 BIG Little Hero
The tri-counties is incredibly lucky to be cared for under this remarkable local health care system. So many of the children served by Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation have benefitted from their incredible services, from Urgent Care/ER, to the clinic at Cottage Children's Medical Center, to Cottage Hospital's Pediatric Ward, Outpatient Surgery and more. This year more than any other, we are honored to highlight their extraordinary care and reach in our community.
Our 2021 Keynote Speaker
Jake Olson
Jake Olson became the first completely blind football player in college football history when he successfully long snapped a PAT for the USC Trojans against Western Michigan on September 2nd, 2017. Jake's story of overcoming retinoblastoma and going blind at the age of 12 has served as an inspiration to many people across the world.
Master of Ceremonies
Brian Phelps
Brian is a radio personality best known for the nationally syndicated Mark & Brian morning show. In 2020 Mark & Brian were inducted into the Radio Hall Of Fame after being on air together on 95.5 KLOS radio in Los Angeles for 25 years.
The need for our services continues to grow.
Despite the pandemic, TBCF was proud to serve a total of 891 families in the tri-county region in 2020. We also provided free meals, grocery gift cards, and other essentials to families seriously affected by the pandemic and shelter in place orders. The request for our services continues to grow.
