Our Little Heroes Breakfast was a wonderful success. We are so grateful for the support of our community. Because of you, we will be able to support our local families battling pediatric cancer.
Our 2020 SB Little Hero
Jolie is a survivor. She was diagnosed with cancer as a teenager and treated locally at Cottage Children's Medical Center. Since her recovery, she has given back to Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation and been an advocate for pediatric cancer awareness.
Our 2020 SB Keynote Speaker
Patch Adams is best known for his work as a medical doctor and a clown, but he is also a social activist who has devoted over 40 years of his life to changing America’s healthcare system. He believes that laughter, joy and creativity are an integral part of the healing process and, with the help of friends, he founded the Gesundheit Institute in 1971 in order to address all the problems of health care in one model.
WHY DO OUR KIDS NEED
The need for our services continues to grow.
In 2019, TBCF was proud to serve a total of 197 families / 851 individuals with our programs, a 9% increase in number of families served in 2018. We also provided financial support to 25% more families and our relapse fund to 17% more families than in 2018. The request for our services continues to grow.
Our 2020 Master of Ceremonies was Stephen Watson.
