JASMIN CASTRO
Jasmin was diagnosed with a malignant Germ Cell tumor at the age of one. Her treatment saved her life, but left her almost completely deaf. Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation assisted Jasmin with the purchase of hearing aides and school tutoring.
Jasmin was determined to do well and graduated from high school in 2018. She is now in college studying to be a nurse.
She has made a huge impact in the lives of those who know and love her. We are so honored to recognize her as this year’s Ventura County Little Hero!

The need for our services continues to grow.
Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation helps kids living in Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo counties. In 2019, 56% of the families we served lived in Ventura County. As a direct result of your donations, we are able to continually provide support to families in your very own community
