On Sunday, May 18th, Walter Claudio Salon and Spa graciously opened their beautiful doors to us once again to host our 6th Annual Mothers Spa Day, where beauty professionals united with the purpose of providing complementary services to mothers of children with cancer, and mothers who have lost a child to cancer in our local community. After being greeted with mimosas, fresh fruit and tea sandwiches, 32 TBCF moms indulged in mini manicures, facials, massages, haircuts/styles, and a makeup finishing touch. Once they were through with their treatments, they mingled with the other moms and left the salon feeling relaxed and rejuvenated with goodie bags, flowers and hair straighteners in hand, generously donated by Westland Floral, Skin Deep and Heather Cook. Thank you to all the service providers, volunteers and donors who helped make this event possible. We couldn’t have done it without you!
