FOR LOW-TO-MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES
THE FAMILY FUND
Our Financial Stability Programs
help offset loss of income due to one or more parents reducing work hours or quitting their job to care for their child in the hospital. Funds help cover immediate expenses such as rent, utilities, car payments, gas, lodging and groceries.
FOR LOW-TO-MODERATE INCOME FAMILIES
DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FUND
Low-to-moderate income families can ease their immediate financial
burden by applying for up to $7,000 for payment of rent or mortgage,
auto expenses, utility bills, medications, home care services, food,
child care, or hotel accommodations.
RELAPSE FUND
If a child’s cancer returns, families can request
an additional $2,500 of financial support.
SECONDARY DIAGNOSIS FUND
If a child receives a secondary diagnosis of a different type of cancer,
families can request an additional$2,500 of financial support.
BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT FUND
If a child is in need of a bone marrow transplant,
families can request an additional $2,500 of financial support.
FUNERAL FUND
We assist families with up to $2,500 to cover the costs
of funeral arrangements.
FOR FAMILIES OF ALL INCOME LEVELS
“BEAR” NECESSITIES
Items for families such as furniture, appliances, clothing, bedding, and hospital care packages are provided to families in need. Families of all income levels may also request gas cards to cover the cost of four round trips to and from their treatment location as well as up to $2,000 in hotel accommodations.
