In 2002, Larry Crandell introduced Eloy Ortega, Steve Cushman, Earl Armstrong and Tom Parker to a new nonprofit called Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation. In response to the need for immediate funding, Steve Cushman came up with the idea to create the Grizzly Club. In 2004, the core group of community leaders began working together to support local families with a child battling cancer. 












After a long hibernation, the bears are waking up!

On March 10, 2026, past members and those interested in learning more, will gather for a business networking breakfast and unite in support of a meaningful initiative benefiting Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation.
